ibis Melbourne - Glen Waverley

Very friendly staff at the reception. Especially two male receptionists. I don't remember his name but he said he's originally from Sri Lanka. He was always helpful with everything. Like ordering taxi for my 3 conferences, organising portable heater on wheels because the heating in the room didn't work. Also when I arrived at the Ibis hotel i waited around an hour and from travelling of 21 hours in the plane i was falling asleep and he gave me the room faster than 2 pm. If i need to know about directions to Indian restaurant or supermarket etc etc they were always answering and guiding without any problems and always with a smile on the face. Room very clean, too. Nice hot breakfast, when ordered the day before cost 20 dollars. There's fridge, kettle with tea bags and coffee, iron, hairdryer in the room. I really recommend the Ibis hotel to anyone who needs to stay in Melbourne. I know myself I will stay again if I'll need to come to Melbourne in the future.

We've stayed here a few times. Find the beds very comfortable. Sheets feel crisp and clean. Room was spacious enough for us. Bathroom was cold, a heat lamp would have been great, as would have been a fan. We ate breakfast at the Ibis for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed when I figured out where everything was. Staff heated some soy milk for my coffee which wasn't readily available with the other milks.

Comfortable bed, nice towels (which they changed daily, an added bonus), good hot water and pressure. Room was clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurant choices just a short walk away as well as grocery stores. Train station to Melbourne is an 8-minute walk. Very convenient. The hotel and neighborhood were quiet. I rarely heard the other guests coming and going.

Great staff. Genuinely wanted to help you have asuper stay. Had to change room due to weird cracking noise near window. Maintenance straight onto it and moving rooms not a problem, allcqrranged quickly by reception. Great location. Quiet yet near mall and restaurants. Contemporary design of lounge, bar and restaurant. Liked late night food offering. Tasty pizza. The bed was so comfy!

Location - next to lots of fast food places and close to the train station and mall. Free water in the lobby. Staff were very nice and accomodating. Mostly clean and tidy. Felt safe.
